Welcome to the Coalition for the Right Road, a group of Georgia citizens committed to making sure the 411 Connector is built as soon as possible with minimal environmental impact and at the lowest cost to taxpayers.

For more than 50 years, Georgia leaders have talked about building the 411 Connector – a limited-access highway that would bypass the US 41/411/SR 20 interchange in Bartow County and provide a direct route to I-75 from Cartersville and Rome.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) now says it is ready to move forward with the 411 Connector – but has proposed a route (“Route D-VE”) that would require the destruction of Dobbins Mountain in order to connect the new road to I-75.

Other options exist for the 411 Connector that can be built sooner, without destroying one of Bartow County’s most beautiful mountains, and for millions of dollars less than Route D-VE.

Learn more and help us protect this mountain, protect your tax dollars, and finally make the 411 Connector a reality.
