CORR Attends 42nd Annual Great Locomotive Chase Festival and Parade

CORR members (in green) took part in last weekend’s parade in Adairsville.

This past weekend, Coalition for the Right Road (CORR) participated in the 42nd Annual Great Locomotive Chase Festival and parade in Adairsville.

The festival, held at the Adairsville Historic Square, included arts and crafts booths, food and entertainment, pageants, street dances and Gospel singing. Special activities were also hosted inside the depot at the Age of Steam Rail Depot Museum. CORR members were able to share information on the negative impact U.S. 411 Route D-VE would have on Bartow County.

CORR members also took part in the annual parade, driving and walking through downtown, waving banners that read “There’s Another Way” and “Stop D-VE.”

To voice your concerns about Route D-VE, sign our petition or share your opinions on Facebook or Twitter. If you are interested in attending future events or joining CORR, email us at us411connector@gmail.com.
