  1. What’s the current status of Route D-VE? In the last 48 hours all the utilities were marked on sections of Industrial Park Rd and on Peeples Valley Road (near and North of Industrial Park). Is this in preperation of D-VE starting? Or has the project been stalled (hoping so)?

GDOT is continuing to do new studies and re-evaluate old environmental studies for the 411 Connector, but the Project has not been approved. GDOT has yet to study the acid drainage potential from Dobbins Mountain, which is required (according to the US Fish & Wildlife Service) before approval of Route D-VE could even be considered. Even if the Project (Route D-VE) gets approval, which is very unlikely, the start of construction would be years away.
